Non-invasive Focused Ultrasound Diagnosis & Treatment System with Micro Bubbles

An accurate and effective High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) system with micro-bubbles for medical non-invasive diagnosis and treatment (tumor, calculus, gene transfection, ultrasound imaging) are our targets. However, the accuracy and effectiveness of the focused ultrasound in these applications is still far from satisfaction. We combine the multi-scale analysis of the ultrasound propagation in vivo tissues/organs and the dynamics of micro-bubbles and capsules, so that much higher resolution and thermal effectiveness are achieved for tumor treatment. What's more, with our development of the ultrasound simulation, the real-time control of the focused ultrasound in medical treatments is coming in the close future.
