Fusion Bioelectronics by Nanoscience

We are studying about interdisciplinary researches of bio and oxide electronics for realizing secure life electronics based on human mimetic artificial nano-materials. Human mimetic materials and biosensors are fabricated combined with 3D nonstructural controlled functional oxides (ZnO-nano rods) combined with semi conducting technology such as MOS-FET devices. Glass materials such as spin-glass, dipole glass (relaxors) are good candidates for human mimetic materials. They have typical characteristics for "Yuragi" function similar to organism (living things). Furthermore, the research about bio sensor/memory devices, which are constructed by self organizing system such as DNA and bio, related molecules are discussed. A new method based on THz-spectroscopy is also constructing for direct detecting of bio molecules, hydrogen bond of base pairs in DNA double helix and that of protein-DNA molecules.
